Financial Services - Xerox Workplace Cloud
Large global insurer, of complex claims and adjustments, secures equipment pan-Europe.
Situation
Charles Taylor sought efficiency for business equipment and services as they consolidated their European office footprint. When their print contracts ended, Xenith assessed their printing requirements, including support of a highly mobile hybrid workforce, and their costly, archaic on-prem print infrastructure.
We agreed that secure modernisation would be key to their shared working environment and cloud-first print strategy.

The Solution
Following the print analytics study, we proposed downgrading the printer specifications, enabling an immediate hardware cost reduction. We removed all the print servers from the IT infrastructure, resulting in greater savings and reduced management burden.
We replaced the legacy software hosted within their infrastructure with Xerox Workplace Cloud, a full cloud print management solution.
We also deployed Xenith Print Security Services to secure the endpoint print devices, including proactive firmware updates, password rotation management and security audit reporting. Charles Taylor won’t compromise on technology security, and that includes end-point printers. Xenith’s solution is fully integrated with Microsoft Entra ID, utilising SSO and their secure door access system cards.
All hardware and software are supported from Xenith’s dedicated MPS and Escalated Support Helpdesks.
Outcome
Annual hard cost reduction of 35% from printers and on-prem servers. Supplemented with a soft cost savings from employee time, IT no longer needed to manage and patch print servers. As Charles Taylor migrates their laptop fleet in the future to Entra ID joined devices, it will seamlessly integrate with the print solution and mitigates the legacy print spooler vulnerabilities, such as print nightmare. The new cloud solution is more scalable, allowing expansion to more offices with a standardised print management solution.
Charles Taylor has future-proofed and secured their business equipment pan-Europe. Modernising their hybrid employee’s work experiences without sacrificing security.
